Our story

Made by hand with love in Christchurch

Tallowlove is a small, family-run business founded by Simon and Lisa based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Lisa’s own struggle with sensitive skin, and frustration with products full of unknown or unpronounceable ingredients, led us to discover the benefits and simplicity of tallow, and Tallowlove grew from there. We render our own tallow from grass-fed NZ beef, and blend it with high-quality ingredients sourced from NZ suppliers we trust, using organic wherever possible. Everything is made by hand, in small batches, from our home.

A note on naturals: We use only natural ingredients, so texture, colour, and firmness may vary slightly between batches. Store below 25°C and away from direct sunlight to keep your product at its best.
